The Eta Xi Chapter of
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Hello!

Welcome to the official website of the Eta Xi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is the oldest Black Greek Letter Organization founded by African American college women. Since January 15, 1908, the women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. have committed their lives to the pillars of sisterhood, scholarship, and service to all mankind. The legacy and impact of this illustrious organization is prevalent on college campuses, within the White House, in local communities, and on an international level.

The Exquisite Eta Xi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated was chartered on January 13, 1973. Over the past 50 years, the dedicated women of the Eta Xi Chapter have served the local Athens-Clarke County Community and the University of Georgia’s Student Body with deep love and compassion. Today, we strive to continue the legacy of our Twenty Pearls as we implement our international service initiatives on the University of Georgia’s campus and beyond.

We invite you to explore our website and learn more about our history, chapter updates and the service we conduct on campus and on an international level. If you have any questions, concerns, or would like to reach out, please let us know via our contact page. Thank you for visiting!

"We are Sorors and we're striving
We have to work, sometimes we have to cry...
We have to hold on to
Alpha Kappa Alpha
and we'll be holding on until we die."
