We were proud to walk away as award recipients for Academic Achievement, Outstanding Health & Wellness Programming, Outstanding Service, and NPHC Chapter of the Year. We were also honored to be finalists in the category for Enhancing Cultural Competence, Inclusivity, and Community. Go Eta Xi!

OLD SKOOL FIELD DAY
After several years, we brought back Old Skool Field Day, a signature program for Eta Xi.

JOYETTE HOLMES
Eta Xi Alum, Joyette Holmes (Spr. 96) was recently appointed District Attorney for Cobb County, GA, making her the first African-American AND the first woman to serve in this position!

REGIONAL STEP SHOW
Our step team won 1st place in the step and stroll competition at the South Atlantic Regional Conference

GREEK UNITY
The Beta Sigma chapter of AXO was kind enough to invite us into their home for an evening of fellowship. We thank them for the great conversation, the delicious food, and their overwhelming hospitality!

THE QUIET TRAILBLAZER
We had the privilege of watching the screening of "Mary Frances Early: The Quiet Trailblazer." This documentary chronicles the moments leading to Soror Early becoming the first black person to graduate with a degree from the University of Georgia, and it showcases her ongoing impact. We're so thankful for all she endured so that we could be where we are today. We appreciate the kind words she gave us after the screening, and we will strive to make her proud. Soror Early is truly an inspiration to all!

MLK DAY OF SERVICE
We honored the legacy of Dr. King through a morning march on campus, followed by community service.

ETA XI TILL I DIE
The Exquisite Eta Xi chapter celebrated 46 years of excellence on January 13th, 2019! We are grateful for each and every day for our 14 charter members who paved the way for us.

UGA BLACK ALUMNI
We teamed up with the Beta Zeta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated; the Lambda Delta Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated; and the Zeta Psi chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated to provide care packaged to the office of institutional diversity in solidarity with the UGA black alumni's declaration of January 9th as desegregation day of service!
