Greetings!

Welcome to the official website of the Eta Xi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is the first Black Greek Letter Organization founded by African American college women. Since January 15, 1908, the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. have dedicated themselves to the pillars of sisterhood, scholarship, and service to all mankind. The enduring legacy and far-reaching impact of this esteemed organization are evident on college campuses, within the White House, in local communities, and globally.

The Exquisite Eta Xi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated was established on January 13, 1973. For over 50 years, the devoted women of the Eta Xi Chapter have served the Athens-Clarke County Community and the University of Georgia’s Student Body with deep love and compassion. Today, we continue to uphold the legacy of our Twenty Pearls as we implement our international service initiatives on the University of Georgia’s campus and beyond.

We encourage you to explore our website to learn more about our history, chapter updates, and the service we provide both on campus and internationally. If you have any questions, concerns, or would like to get in touch, please visit our contact page. Thank you for visiting!

We have to work, sometimes we have to cry...
We have to hold on to
